Happy Birthday, Winston!

Winston turned two this Friday, January 27th.   I made the birthday boy a ground meat cake with mashed potato "icing."

Winston had a great birthday weekend. I did not get him any gifts since he just had a HUGE landslide of toys at Christmas and I have my eye on some Valentine toys for them!  I did make them some special dog treats and he got lots of TLC. I can't believe our baby boy is two! This is going to be a great year for Winston. 

Tracking Today!

We took Winston tracking today. It was 74 degrees and humid in January!

We are really working on keeping Winston's nose down and not air scenting. 

There was an eerie fog today. 

Winston did great today. Nailed his turns--left and right. 

Good job, Winston! We are also working on taking the article to indicate.

We had a great day tracking. Winston loves tracking and he did fabulous. We need to practice more this year so we can work towards our TD title. Looking forward to it!

Santa brought the dogs 2 toys each, plus Aunt Annette, Aunt Toni and Aunt Anna also gave the dogs toys! WOW! Thanks for all the toys!

The dogs also received new food dishes from Santa. 

Santa was good to us all and we had a merry Christmas!

Hasten and Barclay, my sister's dogs

Hasten and Barclay were also here this holiday. They did not get to play though since Winston did not seem too happy to meet Hasten.

Winston and I went bell ringing for the Salvation Army via the Five Flags Dog Training Club.

Winston held the bell and  helped fill the kettle!

Our friend Mary and her Border Terrier, Laz also rang the bell with us. The little elf was a hit!
